Weddingbee Wiki

The Weddingbee Wiki was introduced on March 3, 2008 to the Weddingbee website community.

The wiki is an online, collaborative guide to weddings that anyone can edit.

If you’ve ever used Wikipedia, you’ve seen what wikis can do - they’ve used wiki software to collaboratively create and edit the world’s largest encyclopedia.

Feel free to edit any of the articles - or create your own here. You can sign into your existing Weddingbee account, or just edit away without an account (an account is not required).

Create a Wiki Article

• Go to the Wiki Main Page (http://wiki.weddingbee.com/Main_Page).
• At the bottom of the page, you can type in the title of the article. Under where it says, "You can enter a page title in the box below to start a new article."
• Click on, "Create Article".
• On the new page, there is a text box. Start typing to create the article.
• When finished, click "save page".

Edit a Wiki Article

• When on a wiki thread, click the edit button, next to the section you would like to edit.
• Add text to the section.
• After making changes, click, "save page".

Tips

• To create a new line, use : at the front of each line.
• To create a bullet, use * at the front of each line.
• To create a title for the contents section, go to the toolbar and click on the button with a large A, the fifth one in. If you scroll over it, it is labeled: "Level 2 headline".

Using the toolbar buttons (from left to right), you can:

• Bold text
• Italicize text
• Add an internal link, for example, here is a link to Mrs. Bee
• Add an external link, for example, here is a link to Google
• Add the Level 2 headline
• Add an embedded image
• Add a media file link
• Add a mathematical formula
• Ignore wiki formatting
• Add your signature with time stamp
• Add a horizontal line
