A set of disposable camera are sometimes given to guests at a wedding, so that they can take candid amateur photographs on the wedding day.
Tips
- Many couples experience issues with developing pictures off of disposable cameras. You may want to shoot and develop a sample roll off of one of the disposable cameras, to make sure that the pictures will turn out ok.
- Make sure to establish clear guidelines for how to return the cameras (and who to give them to).
- Put someone in charge of encouraging people to take photos with the cameras! Some newly married couples encourage guests to take photos when they visit each table.
- Put someone in charge of making sure that children don't obtain a camera and waste an entire roll of film.
- An alternative to disposable cameras is using a digital usher.
