U.S. Virgin Islands

The U.S. Virgin Islands are a group of islands in the Caribbean Sea. They are part of the Virgin Islands archipelago and located in the Leeward Islands of the Lesser Antilles. The U.S. Virgin Islands consist of Saint Croix, Saint John and Saint Thomas and many other surrounding minor islands. It is also a territory of the U.S.

The Islands are known for their white, sandy beaches including Magens Bay and Trunk Bay. Most of the islands, including Saint Thomas, are volcanic in origin and hilly.

In the Virgin Islands, traffic drives on the left, though almost all vehicles are left hand drive (as they are imported from the US).

The average temperature for the Islands are warm and tropical, as is all the other islands of the Caribbean. These elements are essential to many newlywed couples or couples planning destination weddings.
