Rentals

Rentals are specifically-requested for items in the wedding that are not bought, but rather rented through certain vendors.

Brides planning a home wedding or a tent wedding will most likely need to rent tables, chairs, silverware, glassware, china, table linens, etc. If there are limited bathroom facilities, port-a-potties may need to be rented to accommodate extra guests.

Certain wedding venue sites also require rentals of tables, linens, china, etc., either from an in-house supply or an outside company. Some brides also choose rentals as a way of "upgrading" beyond the basic reception offerings. See chivari chair for an example.

Although rentals can be expensive, one advantage is that a bride or groom can build the wedding "from scratch" and ensure they get exactly what they want.
