Photography studio
A photography studio is a company that hires a group of photographers to take photos, all under a single brand name. A photography studio is typically a company; any payments goes to the company, who then either pays a commission to the photographer or pays their salary.
Couples sometimes hire a photography studio to take photographs at their wedding.
In contrast to a photography studio, it's possible to hire an individual photographer. When a couple hires a photographer, they are guaranteed to work with that particular photographer. The photographer may use an assistant or secondary shooter, but the primary photographer will be the person hired. Typically, a photographer is a freelancer who works for themselves; any payment goes directly to the photographer.
