Outer Banks

The Outer Banks (or OBX) are a 200-mile long string of islands off the coast of North Carolina, covering approximately half the state's northern coastline.

The four major island communities are Bodie Island, Roanoke Island, Hatteras Island, and Ocracoke Island. The Outer Banks are a major tourist destination, known for temperate weather and wide expanses of open beachfront.

The Outer Banks are becoming a popular place for destination weddings and honeymoons.
