What Is a Hive Hostess?

Hive Hostesses comment on threads on the boards, give advice, and welcome new and existing members. Hive Hostesses help keep our Community a friendly, welcoming place filled with inspiration and advice for brides-to-bee and newbee brides who just can't break the Weddingbee addiction!

A Hive Hostess helps to make both new and existing Weddingbee community members feel welcomed, elevates topics of interest, and helps to ensure that our Community remains a welcoming, helpful home for brides-to-bee.

Hostesses can be easily recognized by the “Hostess” title under their avatars, the same way Bees have "Bee" under theirs. Their default icon is a beehive, but many have chosen unique avatars too. On the blog posts, a little question mark appears next to the "Hostess" title, which if you click on it sends you to this page where you can apply to be a Hive Hostess!


What Does It Take to be a Weddingbee Hive Hostess?

A Hive Hostess is someone who

  • Has a minimum of two months of active membership on Weddingbee
  • Has made at least 200 posts ("Helper Bee" status)
  • Shows incredible creativity, style, and grace
  • Has a reputation for being a source of inspiration and advice in our community
  • Writes friendly, helpful, and insightful posts and replies
  • Has great taste and style
