A groom's cake is a cake usually given to a groom by his partner at a rehearsal dinner or wedding reception. The design of the cake is usually meant to reflect the interests and personality of the groom. A groom's cake is a very Southern tradition, but it is increasing in popularity nationwide.

Traditionally, the wedding cake has been all white (white cake with white frosting) and the groom's cake chocolate, but nowadays, anything goes.
