A bouquet toss is when a bride chooses to toss her bridal bouquet during a wedding reception. The toss is usually done over the bride's shoulder to a a group of the single female guests. It is said that whoever catches the bouquet will be the next person to be married.

• The anniversary dance, where the bouquet is given away to the couple that's been together for the longest time.
• Some brides choose not to give away their bouquet at all.
