Beverages are liquids specifically prepared for consumption. In weddings, many couples choose to formulate their own beverages (known as signature drinks) to leave another certain unique quality to their event.

Beverages are usually served at a wedding reception to accompany food and dessert. Typical beverages include water, tea, coffee, juice and soda. It is common to also serve alcoholic beverages such as beer and wine. Sometimes a full bar serving hard liquor drinks is also offered to guests.

Beverages are not commonly served during ceremonies. However it is becoming more common to serve water and/or lemonade during hot outdoor wedding ceremonies to keep guests hydrated.
